Born the first son of Jack Paul Ramoutarsingh, a founding member of the ‘Flying Tigers”, the first Trinidad & Tobago Motorsport Club. Daniel had a passion for Motocross and Power Boats, which were later abandoned to pursue Road Racing as stipulated by his late father. Ironically, his father Jack was given a choice to give up motor sport or marry Daniel’s mother, Beatriz. Father and son always had a passion for the machine and Daniel worked against all odds to compete. He spent seven years on the management of the FIA ASN of Trinidad and Tobago, most of which as Secretary General and FIA sanctioned Chief Steward. His first love is Road Racing, of which he continues to sacrifice to make this dream a reality. Jack Paul Ramoutarsingh passed away shortly after they acquired the Rocketsports RS 28 Jaguar XKR, and it his in his honour that Daniel took the competition number 18, belonging to his father throughout his life.
